Hihemax Mail was built from the ground up to protect your privacy. We believe your email is your personal property, and our job is simply to provide the infrastructure for you to use it safely.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is strictly necessary for the operation of our services. This includes:
- Account Information: Name, work email address, and billing details.
- Domain Metadata: DNS records and verification status for your custom domains.
- Technical Logs: IP addresses and timestamps for security auditing (retained for 30 days).
2. How We Use Data
We use your data solely to:
- Authenticate your access to the webmail client and dashboard.
- Facilitate the sending and receiving of emails on your behalf.
- Protect our infrastructure from spam and malicious activity.
- Process payments through our secure third-party provider (Stripe).
What we NEVER do:
- We never sell your data to third parties.
- We never scan your emails for advertising.
- We never track your location or browsing habits.
3. Data Retention
When you delete an email, it is immediately removed from your active mailbox. We retain backups of deleted data for a maximum of 14 days to facilitate disaster recovery. When you close your account, all data is permanently purged within 30 days.
